NO. By no means am I saying that you should treat your people like children. That nver works. But a few tips are suitable for both groups:
- Don't be a wiseass.
- Do inspire.
- Don’t just assign tasks.
- Do delegate (effectively).
- Don’t say: NO, you can’t.
- Clarify pros and cons.
- Protect less.
- Trust more.
- Don't parent them.
- Lead by example.
- Talk less.
- Ask more.
- Don't pretend you're infallible.
- Acknowledge your mistakes.
